There were so many days I didn't think this would happen. A finished series. When I started writing Love's Awakening, I never imagined it would go into 3 books. But I never want a story to end. Each chapter, each character lead to more information flowing from my head to my fingers to paper.
Publishing the first book was easy. But that second book. COVID hit and a lot of doubts sat in. Being locked in, like others I had a lot of time on my hands. The idea was to release the books in 2019, 2020 and 2021. But the delay was what I needed. My Work In Progress group assisted me with so many ideas to carry my tale further. By 2022 book 2 was ready for release.
Then I started working on the finishing touches of book 3. Which was supposed to be released in 2022, 6 months after book 3. But 2023 started off with some depression, and a lot of procrastination. Time wasted scrolling through social media was time missed on editing. And when I looked at the calendar, I could have cried. Because book 3 was supposed to be ready and finished before July 1, 2023. I was no where near ready. I had to adjust my release date to October. I needed my edits completed by August 30. I screwed up.
But I worked it out. I got the edits completed. Will make the most important date ever. A different release date. A better release date. With a special surprise.
